FAQ's

WHY SHOULD WE RETAIN YOUR SERVICES?

The fact is that you’ll save time and money by bringing us on board.  The cost to maintain a staff person whose one of many responsibilities is to write grants, with minimum time available and a limited grant database to work with, will run you a salary plus benefits and retirement.  Our offer is to give you access to a complete range of our grant services for a fraction of that cost.

There are a number of pieces to the mosaic of successful grant writing that need to be pulled together in order to make it work.  First, you need people with writing skills who have a particular talent towards grant development.  Secondly, you’ll have to be prepared to invest considerable time and money to develop the basic framework in which they can produce.  Thirdly, all of the above aren’t going to help you unless you know where the best sources are to submit this expansive paperwork you’ve produced.  The point is, even if one of the above is missing, it’ll hamstring your campaign to bring in grant funds.  Our proposal to provide services gives you unlimited access to these same services 24 hours a day.

WHAT’S OUR PROGNOSIS FOR SUCCESS?

The grant market has become extremely competitive in the two and a half decades that we’ve been working within its parameters.  We can guarantee you that billions of grant dollars will be awarded this year to many different groups, a number of them your competition.  We’ll also guarantee that we’ll give you the best possible leverage to get your share of funding for which you qualify.  Every organization has its own personality and its own way of doing business, we’ll work with you with our extensive resources and accomplished personnel in order that you will attain your best results.  This we guarantee.

WHAT KIND OF WORK PRODUCTIVITY CAN WE EXPECT?

If you choose to have us work on a performance basis, the motivation is, either we all get rewarded or none of us get rewarded.  Because of this policy, only performance is rewarded.  We customize your work, we don’t cookie cut our approach to funding sources, we focus in on the best source for your project and then we produce the best product to match those specific guidelines.  Our goal is to produce the maximum number grant proposals yearly per client.  Again, there is no limit.

WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE WILL BE DOING MY WRITING?

We presently have 83 people under contract to do our grant writing and development.  They have a combined experience level of over 16 centuries.  You can’t hire this kind of talent without paying a heavy dollar for it in the grant arena.  Staff backgrounds reflect many disciplines, primarily Ph.D. level, former hospital/nursing executives, and educators with the highest credentials.  If we’re working on a project that requires a particular discipline, there is high probability that a person on staff has a history in that field.  This works to your advantage in the development of the grant being written.

WHAT KIND OF GRANT FUNDING IS AVAILABLE FOR MY ORGANIZATION?

Grants cover the entire spectrum of human activity.  Funds can be brought in to address any legitimate equipment, program/staff development, bricks and mortar, education, health and community outreach requests.  The only limitation is your imagination and your ability to perform within the guidelines of the funding agency.  Once we complete our standard on site feasibility study, followed up with our stratagem report to your executive staff, we’ll have a complete profile that identifies growth areas and funding availability tailored to your organization.

WHAT KIND OF TIME FRAME ARE WE LOOKING AT TO SEE DOLLARS?

Again, you’ll hear consultants talking “hard wire” and “lobbying” dollars availability.  In over twenty five years, we’ve never seen this type of funding that didn’t have ropes (not strings) attached to them.  We refuse to expose our clients to this kind of scenario.  The relationship we establish with our clients is a familial one.  We’re in this with you for the long run.  If we can secure dollars within the first six to ten months, we’ll do it.  If it takes a year, then it takes a year.  With over a hundred and fifty clients, over a twenty year period, no one has walked away empty handed.

To recap, first your feasibility study report is finalized (which includes your initial identified funding sources), then all needed material acquisition from your staff is collected, then the actual writing begins.  You should see writing within the first three months, grant submissions immediately thereafter.

HOW OFTEN IS MY PORTFOLIO WITH YOU UDPATED?

We are continually updating your portfolio on a daily basis.  When grants become available they’re forwarded to you for review, and if applicable, approval.  We’ve been hearing claims of incredible data bases, unknown secret sources from other consultants.  Kindly understand, the sources are the same for all of us.  It’s either Federal, State, Foundational, Philanthropic (totaling around 50,000) or it doesn’t exist.  No smoke and mirrors, only ongoing, grueling work.  If you’ve ever written a grant, you know what we’re talking about, it can be overwhelming.  Now, all you have to do is contact your/our assigned team leader and say, “you do it”.

GIVE ME A WORD ABOUT THE WAY YOU GET PAID.

We’ll review the various options for compensating our services.  Everyone on staff belongs to various national recognized professional groups that demand the highest ethics and honesty.  I demand the same professionalism from everyone who’s engaged by our practice.  The performance fee we charge on awarded grants, if that’s the option you choose to take, has been reviewed and found acceptable by legal staff at prestigious institutions and state governments nationwide.  References are gladly provided once you’ve made a decision to go ahead with us.

Our payment structure reflects the highest of ethical behavior.  We research your sources, we secure your guidelines and we write your grants, we do not interface with the funding source, YOU do.

YOU put the finished grant on your letterhead,

YOUR signature is the sign off on your grant,

YOU submit the grant proposal,

YOU get the grant award from the funding source,

YOU spend every cent of the grant on the project as stated,

YOU reimburse us out of general accounting, not the grant.

It’s entirely your show, we’re totally behind the scene as your writers, researchers, however, the feathers go in your cap.
